Last month Carbon Graphics Group, formerly Carbon Copy Digital, purchased Petro-Tech Printing Ltd. from The Prolific Group, a move that will enable both companies to expand and diversify services for their clients, they say.
With a staff of 18 employees, Petro-Tech has been operating in Calgary, Alta., for more than 50 years, offering digital printing and offset services to its clients. It will continue to operate at its current location, providing customers with the same level of service and products. It is anticipated that over the next 60 to 90 days, Petro-Tech operations and staff will be merged into the Carbon Graphics Group Calgary location.
Carbon Graphics Group, with a 20,000-square-foot facility in Calgary and a 15,000-square-foot facility in Edmonton, Alta., is a 40-year-old Canadian printing company. It currently offers digital colour printing, CAD printing, bindery services, architectural films and finishes, print and web design, large-format signage, banners, and scanning/archiving solutions.
